Responsibilities - Establish and nurture new business opportunities with electrical engineers, architects, and designers in the New York City market- Ensure project specifications are met through effective communication with team members, rep agents, dealers, and other key influencers- Close lighting controls and window systems projects by leveraging technical expertise and delivering exceptional customer service- Become a subject matter expert on Lutron products, providing installation advice and technical support to specification customers, end-users, and trade partners- Maintain accurate customer and project information using Salesforce CRM tools- Represent Lutron at industry trade organizations and networking events to enhance brand visibility and build professional networks Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree required- Minimum 5 years previous business experience required, 3 or more years Specification Sales experience preferred- Prior architectural, product, or lighting design experience preferred- Demonstrated ability to learn technical products, their benefits, and specify them- Must have the ability to collaborate with a team to close projectsStarting pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year plus bonus and profit sharing.
