Data Leadership, Guidance & Collaboration• Serve as a subject-matter resource for data best practices, including how to access, interpret, and apply available datasets;• Work closely with clients to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical or technical solutions;• Provide training, informal guidance, and practical tools to staff who rely on data for decision-making;• Demonstrate flexibility by taking on adjacent responsibilities as needed in a small, fast moving team environment to ensure project goals are met;• Engage in continuous learning about new data technologies and their potential application for clients at the Department of State. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred;• Experience with exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis and dashboarding;• Strong experience with Tableau or PowerBI;• Solid knowledge of Python or R;• Experience with automation and AI tools and their judicious application for increasing efficiency and productivity;• Familiarity with data engineering approaches, including management of pipelines, ETL/ELT, SQL and cloud tools preferred;• Familiarity with cloud environments and platforms (e.g.
