Verifying the accuracy, completeness, and validity of a wide variety of accounting functions/transactions including fund balance with Treasury, accounts receivable, obligations, accrued expenditures, disbursements, appropriation refunds, reimbursable orders, earnings, collections, eliminations, and journal vouchers. The accountant will support the advisory team in providing a blend of financial management related advisory support services to assist the day-to-day federal financial management operations to include technical accounting and financial reporting activities at a federal client.
