Integrating and partnering with the business unit leadership team, providing sound legal advice and risk mitigation measures to ensure successful business outcomes • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and ancillary agreements • Support, build positive relationships with, and provide authoritative legal guidance to the legal commercial team as well as other internal business teams • Work collaboratively to identify and implement process improvements and support updates to internal playbooks and templates • Manage and meet internal SLAs, and help juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment • Own specific legal projects and develop subject matter expertise regarding legal issues faced by the customer contracts team and internal business partners • Reviewing solicitations, strategizing approaches for responding, drafting sections addressing particularly legal topics • Selecting and managing outside when needed • Assisting commercial contracts personnel with complex or risk-sensitive terms and conditions, such as limiting liability, indemnification, and grounds for termination • Participating in and contributing to Legal Department discussions on corporate-wide topics, policies, and procedures • Participating in and contributing to Legal Department updates on changing laws and regulations and other continuing education. In this highly visible role, you will provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented counsel on complex commercial transactions, draft and negotiate key agreements, and help drive sound risk management across the organization.
