The Occupational/Industrial Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing "Occupational Injury Prevention and Wellness Services" to clients, employees, and other patients under a supervising physician and in direct contact with Novant Health Employer Solutions/Occupational Medicine leadership and providers. What We Offer:
Occupational/Industrial Athletic Trainer The Occupational/Industrial Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing "Occupational Injury Prevention and Wellness Services" to clients, employees, and other patients under a supervising physician and in direct contact with Novant Health Employer Solutions/Occupational Medicine leadership and providers. The Occupational Athletic Trainer Responsibilites include:<ul><li>To provide appropriate preventative and post-injury treatment</li><li style="color:#474747;margin-top:3pt;margin-bottom:3pt">Instructs individuals on injury prevention techniques, job hazard analysis, ergonomic assessments, first aid and injury care.</li><li style="color:#474747;margin-top:3pt;margin-bottom:3pt">Demonstrates ability to perform the following functions regarding injuries: prevention, assessment, treatment (including first aid) and reconditioning</li></ul> Schedule: Part-Time, 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday – Friday, Flexible scheduleDepartment: Corporate Health  Come join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time. What We're Looking For:
<ul style="direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed;margin-top:0in;margin-bottom:0in"><li style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle;color:#242424">Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.</li><li style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle;color:#242424">Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years collegiate or professional experience, recommended but not required.</li><li style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle;color:#242424">Licensure/Certification: Current AT Licensure in appropriate state, required. Current BOC Certification, required.</li><li style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle;color:#242424">Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.</li><li style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle;color:#242424">Additional Skills (preferred): Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, XPS, CES national certification(s). Ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.</li></ul>
