Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for achieving measurable financial results. The Manager, Partnership Sales will work closely with OVG and Acrisure Arena management and staff. The Manager, Partnership Sales is a member of our sales team. Located in the Greater Palm Springs/Coachella Valley of California, this position will be responsible for generating revenue from local, regional, and national companies through the sale of integrated sponsorship packages for the Firebirds, Lakers, and Acrisure Arena. Oak View Group and the arena/team ownership are looking for hard-working individuals with a passion for live entertainment and a track record of client success. This role will pay a yearly salary of $85,000-$95,000 and is bonus-eligible. Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays). This position will remain open until August 7, 2026.

Responsibilities:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Responsible for establishing new business relationships to achieve annual revenue goals for Acrisure Arena, the Coachella Valley Firebirds hockey team, and the Coachella Valley Lakers basketball team.</li><li>Conduct cold calls as a way of securing appointments to sell to new prospects among local and national companies.</li><li>Analyze specific marketing needs of prospects based on partner objectives, market strategies, category potential, activation potential, and financials.</li><li>Support and work closely with national, regional, and on-site local management.</li><li>Effectively present proposals in front of individuals and large groups.</li><li>Leverage your passion and empathy to develop a long-term business partnership between your client and the properties.</li><li>Communicate well across all areas of the company, including legal, accounting, marketing, community relations, and ticket operations.</li><li>Work closely with Acrisure Arena’s Box Office, Event Services, Marketing, Food and Beverage, as well as the Front Office team for the Firebirds, to ensure that current clients receive superior service and fulfillment of each contract.</li><li>Develop sales action plans to ensure hitting budget goals, including new cash partnerships.</li><li>Assist in the creation and sales of partner packages as it relates to special events and concerts.</li><li>Prospect, sell, cultivate, and maintain the corporate sponsorships for the venue in both new and renewal business.</li><li>Assist to facilitate the execution of all aspects of corporate partnership fulfillment with department staff.</li><li>Responsible for reporting and tracking partnership inventory.</li><li>Assist with the creation and presentation of annual recaps for corporate partners, when applicable.</li><li>Participate with department staff in Servicing corporate sponsorships through various means, including direct contact, newsletters, corporate partner gatherings, etc.</li><li>Create and present integrated marketing packages using traditional, digital, and other non-traditional marketing channels to meet clients' objectives.</li><li>Work and attend events, promotions, and OVG/Acrisure Arena/Coachella Valley Firebirds/Coachella Valley Lakers Corporate Sales events.</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Bachelor's degree or the equivalent training & experience.</li><li>3-5+ years of sales experience with emphasis in team sports, media (TV, radio, digital, etc.), and/or previous sponsorship sales.</li><li>Proven track record of developing and managing strategic corporate partnerships; strong prospecting, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.</li><li>Proven success in establishing and meeting challenging sales objectives in a high-profile, competitive marketplace.</li><li>Comfortable managing tight deadlines and meeting aggressive sales goals and expectations.</li><li>Strong professional relationship skills; ability to establish and maintain long-term strategic relationships with corporate clients, direct reports, and co-workers.</li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills.</li><li>Experience with Salesforce/KORE (CRM) is preferred.</li><li>Able to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings.</li><li>Must be highly self-motivated and adept at working both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Must be a skilled negotiator with the ability to effectively represent the standards and philosophy of the department.</li><li>Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to work nights, weekends, events, and holidays as needed.</li></ul>

Pay Disclosure:
The hourly range for this role is $23.41 to $26.01 for Joshua Tree based applicants. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the hourly range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26, including but not limited to paid vacation, paid sick leave, and a competitive portfolio of insurance benefits including life, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability insurance, and long-term disability insurance to eligible employees.
