Title: Training Curriculum Designer & FacilitatorReports to: Director of Learning & DevelopmentSupervises: NoneStatus: ExemptObjectiveThe Training Curriculum Designer & Facilitator is creative, resourceful and is responsible for helping KEMBA build our holistic training program. This role is responsible for identifying training needs, creating training content and facilitating training that supports the mission, vision, and core values of the Credit Union.Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Scope, design, and develop engaging instructor-led and on-line training using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to best fit the needs of KEMBA’s learners</li><li>Conduct needs analysis with stakeholders to define instructional objectives and business learning outcomes</li><li>Regularly revise, update, or enhance current training content and learning materials to reflect product and process changes</li><li>Build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the organization to design and develop content that translates identified business needs into usable training content</li><li>Evaluate training effectiveness by assessing application of learning to job performance</li><li>Recommend future training programs by identifying gaps in existing training programs</li><li>Organizes and prioritizes work, manage projects to a timeline, and provide regular status updates; delivering work according to established timelines</li><li>Stay up to date with learning trends</li><li>Performs all duties in a manner that is fully compliant with applicable industry regulations as well as KEMBA policy and procedures</li><li>Develops an understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies, and operational procedures</li><li>On a self-direct basis, continues to improve individual level of competency through training and certification on established educational programs</li><li>Relates to others beyond giving and receiving instructions:
	<ul><li>Communicates with coworkers or peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes</li><li>Performs work activities requiring negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading, or speaking with others</li><li>Responds appropriately to feedback from supervisor</li></ul></li><li>Performs other duties as required by management</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience</li><li>2-5 years in a similar role, developing training or content</li><li>Experience in knowledge base solutions and training software required</li><li>Previous retail banking/lending experience preferred</li><li>Experience facilitating interpersonal training preferred</li><li>Excellent communication skills – writing, speaking, and overall presentation; ability to effectively speak in front of large groups of people</li><li>Strong organization skills and high level of attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/projects</li><li>Proven track record of success in managing multiple project/presentation deadlines at one time</li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook</li></ul>Physical DemandsThe physical demands listed below represent those necessary to perform the essential functions of this role. Supports graduation and completion workflows by performing validations and checklist reviews, confirming that mapped requirements align with approved requirements, and assisting with the review of reported issues affecting APR or graduation evaluations. Documents issues, patterns, anomalies, and testing results related to APR and graduation evaluations and escalates findings to the functional lead or manager for remediation with Curriculum Management, Academic Advising, and/or Enrollment Services.

<h2>Academic Requirement Maintenance </h2><ul><li>Maintains and updates approved academic requirements and program structures in Workday Student, including degree requirements, course groups, and rule sets.</li><li>Enters and updates approved curriculum elements to align with institutional policies and state and federal regulations.</li><li>Performs testing and data review to help ensure configuration accuracy, consistency, and compliance.</li><li>Performs administrative entry of previously approved academic requirement overrides on students' APR.</li><li>Applies established entry standards, conducts related data spot checks and validation reviews, documents operational issues and discrepancies, and routes recommendations for supervisor or functional lead.</li><li>Reviews and tests predefined sandbox scenarios for Workday releases, fixes, and changes that affect academic requirements and APR.</li></ul><h2>Academic Progress & Graduation</h2><ul><li>Provides operational support for APR logic and display, helping to ensure that requirements are mapped, tested, and evaluated correctly for student cohorts.</li><li>Supports graduation and completion workflows by performing validations and checklist reviews, confirming that mapped requirements align with approved requirements, and assisting with the review of reported issues affecting APR or graduation evaluations.</li><li>Documents issues, patterns, anomalies, and testing results related to APR and graduation evaluations and escalates findings to the functional lead or manager for remediation with Curriculum Management, Academic Advising, and/or Enrollment Services.</li><li>Performs routine and targeted data spot checks and duplicate resolution related to academic progress and graduation processing. Partners with appropriate teams to resolve discrepancies.</li></ul><h2>Stakeholder Partnership, Training & Support</h2><ul><li>Serves as a point of contact for questions related to academic requirements, APR, and graduation evaluation processes.</li><li>Gathers and clarifies user needs and routes matters through established support channels as appropriate.</li><li>Provides operational support on the interpretation and use of academic requirements and APR.</li><li>Participates in user support activities focused on requirement setup, evaluation logic, and related student record impacts.</li><li>Helps reinforce consistent practices by identifying recurring questions and sharing guidance.</li></ul><h2>Documentation & Reporting</h2><ul><li>Runs delivered and custom report views related to academic programs, academic requirements, APR outcomes, and graduation processing.</li><li>Applies filters, columns, and standard data definitions; and prepares reports in formats such as Excel or PDF for stakeholder use.</li><li>Saves, shares, and maintains recurring report views that support ongoing monitoring of requirement accuracy.</li><li>Assists with documentation issues and troubleshooting efforts in collaboration with other departments.</li><li>Maintains and updates procedure manual sections related to academic requirements, APR, graduation processing support, and override practices.</li><li>Ensures documentation reflects current operational practices.</li><li>Monitors support issues, testing outcomes, and processing exceptions to identify potential process improvement opportunities for review.</li><li>Contributes to continuous improvement efforts by documenting best practices, supporting standardization, and reinforcing established procedures.</li></ul><h2>Culture of Respect</h2><ul><li>Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.</li></ul>
