Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of supervisory techniques; working knowledge of cleaning requirements and practices; knowledge of methods related to techniques, materials, tools and equipment used in general custodial work; basic knowledge of construction techniques; operation and minor maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures; basic knowledge of personal computers preferred; knowledge of diagnostic testing of electrical systems. Skill in one or more of the building trades, including painting, carpentry, minor electrical, cement masonry, dry wall or related craft; the use of a variety of hand and power tools such as hammers, saws, wrenches, sanders, floor buffers, vacuums, and other tools common to building maintenance and repair; skill in the use of electrical meters; good troubleshooting skills.
