Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Stepdown Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active state license required or confirmation that application process has been initiated Certifications: BLS required; ACLS recommended Must-Have: - Experience in stepdown or ICU nursing with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 - Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management - Ability to titrate drips Description: The stepdown care unit provides care for patients with a wide range of medical, neuro, and surgical conditions. Registered nurses will care for three patients with diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, DM, Sepsis, End Stage Renal Disease, liver failure, pancreatitis, GI bleeds, DKA, and complex pneumonia, among others.
