The PSY - Liaison is a trained human services provider who assists law enforcement staff with behavioral health and/or substance use disorder calls for service, linking community members with area resource programs including but not limited to education, outreach, follow-up care to community members including youth, aging, and citizens in needs of housing, financial, food, legal, and transportation in order to reduce repeat calls for service. High School diploma or equivalent certification plus at least three years of related experience in behavioral health and/or substance use disorders services required; any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
