The Technician taking direction from the medical provider regarding which area of the patient's body requires imaging, explaining the procedure and answering questions regarding the procedure, positioning and adjusting patients and equipment, following best practices such as patient shielding, obtaining diagnostic images of the patient, and making any required documentation in the patient's medical record. Under the Director and Clinic Administrator, the Technician assists in patient care and obtains diagnostic images of the patient, performs waived and moderate complexity biological and chemical analyses on patient specimens and performs phlebotomy procedures.
