Working closely with operators and field leadership, this role focuses on precision demolition activities such as removing walls, ceilings, flooring, fixtures, and mechanical systems while protecting surrounding structures and maintaining site integrity. The Interior Demolition Laborer contributes directly to clean, organized, and efficient interior workspaces, ensuring demolition activities are performed safely, methodically, and in alignment with project specifications and environmental controls.
p>The Demolition Operator plays a critical role in executing complex demolition and site preparation activities, operating heavy-duty construction equipment to safely and efficiently dismantle structures, clear materials, and prepare sites for redevelopment. This role requires precision, situational awareness, and technical expertise while operating equipment such as dozers, excavators, and loaders to perform tasks including structural demolition, material handling, grading, and earthmoving.
ul>- Utility Management: Coordinates with all relevant utility providers (e.g., electric, gas, water, and sewer) to ensure verified service disconnects and "kills" are completed and documented prior to the commencement of any demolition activity.
This position requires the ability to work in an office environment and perform frequent site visits, which may involve walking over uneven terrain, navigating debris-filled sites, and exposure to various weather conditions.
Employees contribute $600 pre-tax yearly ($23.08 each pay they work and/are paid 40 hours regular wages) and the employer matches $1500 yearly ($57.70 each pay they work and/are paid 40 hours regular wages). Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all applicable pre-employment screenings and verification of eligibility to work in the United States, in accordance with applicable laws, civil service rules, and collective bargaining agreements.
