The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with patient flow, preparing patients for examinations, documenting pertinent health information, performing routine clinical tasks within their scope of practice, assisting with minor office procedures, coordinating diagnostic testing and referrals, and providing professional and compassionate patient service. The Medical Assistant works closely with providers, nursing staff, front-office personnel, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure patients receive safe, efficient, and respectful care.
