Responsibilities Include: * Performs semi-annual dental services, including: oral clinical examination; dental x-rays, if needed; dental prophylaxis; * Provide dental operative and prosthodontic treatment as needed, including: amalgam and composite fillings, crowns, removable partials or complete dentures, as needed; * Perform Periodontal debridement, scaling and root planning as needed; * Student Training which consists of student observation of behavior management, dental procedures and student assisting when appropriate and circumstances allow. Qualifications: * Possession of a valid license and current registration, issued by the New York State Education Department in dentistry; * 1 - 2 years of private or hospital dental practice, or a graduate of an accredited 1 year general practice residency program.
