Designs and integrates mechanical components for complex automated factory inspection systems, including machine structural pieces, probe mounting/adjustment mechanisms, drive systems (motor, gearboxes, linear bearings), cable handling, water containment, part fixturing and safety systems utilizing variety of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, sheet metal, EDM) and materials (metals, plastics, composites). In this role, you will join a team of multi-disciplined engineers and technical professionals responsible for ensuring the successful design, development, manufacture, installation and life cycle support of Automated Ultrasonic Scanning Systems (AUSS) Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) products for worldwide internal and external aerospace programs.
