Demonstrates competency in patient care( as described in the system wide age specific competency for ultrasound) for the following age categories: (a)Neonate (through 28 days) (b) Infant (29 days to 1 year of age) (c) Toddler (1 year through 2 years of age) (d) Preschool (3 years to 5 years of age) (e) School Age (5 years to 12 years of age) (f) adolescent (12 years to 18 years of age (g) Adult (18 years to 65 years of age) (h) Geriatric (65 years of age and older). Considerable - (About 75% of the day) Involved in exposure to dirt, odors, noise, or some work is performed with exposure to temperature/weather extremes/occupational risk and probability of coming into contact with blood borne pathogens, other potentially infectious diseases, or biomedical/bio-hazardous materials.
