Responsibilities: Supervise and perform direct patient care to include vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment of patients and patient treatments, taking and transcription of physician’s orders, blood draws and documentation of ordered laboratory work. Provide dialysis therapy to include formulating dialysis plan per physician orders, weight and rate of ultrafiltration, verify safety measures, administer medications or other appropriate treatments, disconnect dialysis according to established procedure, document all activity as appropriate.
