Key priorities include advancing the kidney transplant program; strengthening dialysis and renal replacement therapy services; supporting expansion of acute care nephrology across ICUs; developing more specialized clinical lanes within the Division; expanding ambulatory access in Dallas, Plano, and future sites of care; and preparing the Division for the new pediatric campus. The Division provides care for children with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease, hypertension, glomerular disease, nephrotic syndrome, nephrolithiasis, congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract, kidney transplantation, and complex renal complications of systemic illness.
