Serves as Deputy to the Director, with responsibility for overseeing the operation, maintenance, administration, planning, and engineering of the County's highway network, as well as the management and oversight of the County's environmental programs, including Watershed Protection and Restoration (MS4), Stormwater Management, Construction Inspection, and Solid Waste Management. Maintains extensive, diverse, and critical contacts with the public, contractors, developers, other agencies, and civil groups, Coordinates with State and Federal agencies regarding regulatory reviews, approvals, funding, and other matters affecting public works projects.
