POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains sanitary and safe work environment Maintains clean dry floors and walls at all times, including sweeping and mopping Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks on conveyor to dishwashing machine Washes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators, deli slicers and buffalo chopper Segregates and removes trash, garbage and cardboard and places it in designated containers Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and assists with receiving orders Sets up, maintains and works the dishwashing stations at events Helps keep all china, glass and silver in place and in order All other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED required One year of related work experience SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules and operating instructions Ability to add and subtract Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed Must be able to read, write and speak in English Must have professional attitude and appearance * Must be at least 18 years old PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
