EHC is currently looking for a Warehouse Dispatcher for a client in the south Odessa, TX area. Job Summary:Perform logistics functions that may include reviewing, preparing and routing shipments, coordinating drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to schedules or customer requests.Qualifications:<ul><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software</li><li>Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes and personnel</li><li>Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties</li><li>Ability to multitask with different events happening at the same time</li><li>Ability to work under stress and remain calm</li><li>Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment</li><li>2 – 5 years’ experience working with LTL Freight carriers</li><li>Familiarity operating a forklift, a plus</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for calculating routes and times of deliveries and making the necessary adjustments for sales and customers</li><li>Establish delivery routes which are cost effective and compliant with Federal DOT guidelines while still maintaining an acceptable level of customer service, quality and satisfaction</li><li>Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments</li><li>Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles or equipment to appropriate locations according to schedules</li><li>Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews or supervisors</li><li>Using telephones, two-way radios or outlook email to contact employees</li><li>Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment</li><li>Preparing daily work such as schedules</li><li>Preparing work orders for crew or receiving work orders from work crews</li><li>Being in charge of communications within company assigned territories</li><li>Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Position works primarily in a warehouse environment</li><li>Constant telephone activity; must have a high comfort level of initiating conversation</li><li>Moderate noise levels</li><li>Occupation requires being sedentary greater than or equal to 80% of the time\Work involves sitting, standing, hearing, talking, handling, reaching outward, reaching above shoulder, walking, squatting or kneeling, bending</li><li>Regularly required to work on multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions</li></ul>

As a Dispatcher with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for compiling orders, scheduling deliveries and drivers and providing customer service. Why apply?<ul><li>Competitive wages.</li><li>Opportunities for overtime.</li><li>Company provided benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Company paid life and disability benefits, paid vacation, and 401K.</li></ul>About the Role  Responsibilities:<ul><li>Dispatch and control the Drivers needed throughout the day and make any necessary adjustments to maintain daily volume requirements.</li><li>Have a professional and respectful voice over the phone/radio, with the ability to deescalate tense situations.</li><li>Able to remain calm and decisive in a potentially high stress/fast-paced work environment.</li><li>Solve problems in a timely manner while fostering lasting business relationships with our customers/drivers.</li><li>Must be familiar with our delivery areas and must be able to assist drivers in finding job sites.</li><li>Must be able to determine travel time to jobs and best plant locations to service the job.</li><li>Accurately and promptly input orders to customer specifications for delivery.</li><li>Review and verify accurate delivery and product information on orders prior to delivery.</li><li>Must be able to perform in high call volume situations while multitasking with plants, drivers, team members in the office.</li><li>Coordinate Driver timekeeping functions, including receiving and documenting time off requests. As well as, maintaining Driver time off schedule in respect to sick time and personal days</li><li>Daily review of Driver timecards, delivery time reports and time entry/ tracking. </li></ul>About YouWe Require:<ul><li>A minimum of 3 years customer service experience preferred.</li><li>High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.</li><li>Prior dispatch experience, tracking and scheduling is preferred.</li><li>Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) will be highly looked upon.</li><li>Computer Skills: typing skills, internet navigation.</li></ul>About UsEach day brings new challenges, and we make sure you are prepared for it all.
