Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing customers • Identifies and locates new customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls • Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of customers • Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large • Provides information, quotes, and other bid specifications to customers • Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders • Collaborates with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency • Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts and leads to manager • Ability to handle multiple projects at once • Assist customers at the counter in a positive and professional manner • Performs other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or GED is required 2+ years of experience in Customer Service Fluid Power experience a plus Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Office 365, PDF, PowerPoint) Familiar with common office equipment (Printers, Copier, Fax, etc.) Excellent Customer Service Skills Self-starter who works well independently Ability to prioritize given task and work efficiently towards completing them Detail-orientated and exceptional organizational skills Strong problem solver and analytical thinker Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
