Other responsibilities of the District Manager position include, but are not limited to, the following: · Develop store leaders that deliver shopping experiences that exceed customer expectations · Analyze district sales results and trends to increase sales · Maintain inventory mix and merchandise presentation to maximize sales in each store · Partner with store managers to recruit and train new associates · Foster the growth and development of associates into leadership roles · Manage payroll hours · Ensure Store Managers are maintaining cash control, including conducting regular store audits · Ensure Store Managers are managing inventory shrinkage appropriately and monitor inventory shrinkage throughout your district · Provide exceptional customer service and ensure stores are professional, safe, respectful, and friendly environments · Develop meaningful relationships with the associates, leaders, and communities you serve · Travel up to 50% of the time with occasional overnight stays to support and oversee store operations across your district. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation · Multi-unit retail management experience, preferably dealing with hardlines/variety merchandise is preferred.
