An associates degree (AA or AS) or higher in Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Public Administration, Business Management or related field AND three (3) years responsible experience in one or more of the following areas: emergency management, or a related discipline including, but not limited to, military, public works, public health, law enforcement, fire service, or emergency medical services. Applies for and administers state, federal, civic, and other grants relating to Homeland Security and/or Disaster Preparedness including researching grant opportunities, supervising or performing grant writing activities, and monitoring grant commitments against actual activities and documenting stated accomplishments.
