Responsibilities:
As a Directional Drill Operator/Locator, you will support directional drilling for the installation of underground conduit and fiber optic cable. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.   In addition, you will: <ul><li>Locate a Horizontal Directional Driller for the installation of underground conduit and fiber optic cable </li><li>Operate a horizontal directional bore in collaboration with the Drill Locator to successfully install coax and fiber systems </li><li>Ensure the safety of the public and other underground utility facilities </li><li>Read utility locates and coordinates the daylighting of these facilities </li><li>Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site each day </li></ul>

Job Summary Under the direction of the Crew Chief, this position is responsible for the proper fabrication and installation of metal goods in aircraft components, aircraft, or related products, including but not limited to Flaps, Slats, intakes, leading edges, slats, etc. Inaddition, working from blueprints, drawings, sketches or verbal instructions; repairs, modifies, or installs metal and composite structural components to DA drawings, Engineering dispositions, DFJ-WC, and government standards. Job Duties & Responsibilities <ul><li>Performs structural repairs/alterations in accordance with FARs, manufacturer's technical publications and drawings and within DFJ-WC schedules and FAA standards and regulations. </li><li>Manufactures form and molding blocks. </li><li>Fabricates sheet metal parts requiring flanges and contouring. </li><li>Produce and fabricate tooling and parts to aid in the repair of components or aircraft parts for MRO and SRC. </li><li>Lays out and forms doublers, stringers, angles, channels, zee sections and hat sections. </li><li>Parts fabrication, layout, drilling, riveting, deburring, polishing, and installation of parts. </li><li>Knowledge of close tolerances for interference fit fasteners. </li><li>Bearing and bushing replacement as required. </li><li>Sets up and operates heavy machine tools including but not limited to power brakes, drill press, and shears. </li><li>Is able to execute assigned task from a set of drawings, SRM, sketches, or verbal instructions. </li><li>Completes daily tasks with accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and Company Procedures advising the Supervisor immediately of any unsafe or hazardous equipment or working facility. </li><li>Maintains a clean working area. </li><li>Completes his/her work within allocated target hours and on schedule. </li><li>Occasionally, performs fabrication and installation of Avionics STC systems, flight controls and associated airframe systems. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Maintains knowledge of current EPA regulations and applicable F.A.R.s. </li><li>Understands and complies with all DFJ-WC employee work rules. </li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent preferred with additional courses in structural repair and alteration work in recognized service or technical school. </li><li>Must have five (5) years structural repair experience or equivalent. </li><li>Must be able to work from blueprints or sketches. </li><li>F.A.A.
