Current instructor-level certifications in any of the following areas: Basics Life Support (AHA-BLS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), AHA-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NAEMT Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC), AAP Pediatric Education for Prehospital Providers (PEPP), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), NAEMT Tactical Combat Casualty Care (LTC) and NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC). The Fire and EMS Lab Instructor Advanced Life Support Paramedic is also responsible for maintaining, inventorying, and replacing/resetting assigned equipment and lab/classroom spaces; the Fire and EMS Lab Instructor Advanced Life Support Paramedic, as designated by the department/program head/chair, may serve as a lead lab instructor/mentor to help guide and orient new lab instructors to the College, division and department/programs, policies, procedures, and expectations and perform other duties as assigned.
