Working under the direction of the Caltrans Responsible Charge Construction Engineer, you will administer the construction contract between Caltrans and the prime contractor leading a team of inspectors, materials testers, and office personnel, and owning day-to-day contract administration, safety, schedule, environmental compliance, and closeout. Hold responsibility and authority for the traffic control plan and project safety monitor the contractor's safety program, administer COZEEP, file weekly safety reviews, and suspend operations where imminent hazards exist.
