This position may also assist with basic peer support activities, such as encouraging clients to remain engaged in treatment, supporting sober living expectations, helping clients practice healthy coping skills, and communicating concerns related to safety, behavior, or relapse risk. The Peer Support / Driver also serves as a positive role model by encouraging recovery, accountability, respectful behavior, and compliance with program expectations.
