Requires a Bachelor's (BS) degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Metrology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology, plus 5 years' experience in the repair and calibration of M&TE, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Develop and evaluate calibration systems that measure characteristics of objects, substances, or phenomena, such as length, mass, time, temperature, electric current, luminous intensity, and other derived units of physical or chemical measurements.
