Successful candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree, with a masters or doctorate degree in the social sciences, humanities, or public health preferred; must be comfortable with a range of software and web-based programs, including Excel, Word, reference management software, and website navigation; and must work effectively with a variety of partners, including scholars of Plain Anabaptists, public service providers, Plain Anabaptist people, and members of the public. In collaboration with Dr. Cory Anderson and other staff and scholars, the candidate will conduct original research, including literature reviews, analysis, writing, and submission to journals; assist with grant research and writing; and develop and manage quantitative and qualitative databases, outreach programs to Plain Anabaptists and scholars, and archival collections.
