The Afterschool Teacher position is located at the Hammond Recreation Center, responsible for assisting in organization and operation of afterschool activities, supervising classroom staff, providing direction in educational and recreational activities onsite and offsite at Zemurray Park, actively participating with the students participating in the program. Help students with homework, tutoring, leading and teaching of one or more activity classes of the afterschool program, including: nature study, arts and crafts, sports, games, music, special features, or events.
