Emphasize the role of the speech-language pathologist as a member of an interdisciplinary craniofacial/cleft palate team, including collaboration with medical, dental, surgical, audiological, and other professionals. Provide instruction in the assessment and management of speech, resonance, velopharyngeal function, feeding, and communication disorders associated with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial conditions.
