Job Title: Phlebotomist Length of Assignment: Initially 3+ months with possible extension / FTE Work Location : Colorado Springs, CO 80923 with floating to Colorado Springs, CO 80903 Shift: Monday – Friday, 7am - 4pm or 8am -5pm (Must be available for both) Payrate: $22/h - $24.66/h on W2 Job Overview: This role is primarily focused on performing blood draws in a clinical setting. You will work directly with patients and support general Medical Assistant duties as needed. Requirements: <ul><li> Minimum of 6 months of hands-on venipuncture experience (school or externship experience is not considered) </li><li> Must be comfortable performing blood draws independently </li></ul> Education / Certification: <ul><li> Candidates must meet at least one of the following: </li><li> Graduate of a Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES </li><li> Completion of a Medical Assistant training program through the military </li><li> Medical Assistant certification from an organization accredited by NCCA or ANSI </li></ul>Accepted Certifications (active or previously active): <ul><li>AMCA, AMT, AAMA, NHA, NCCT</li></ul> Additional Information:<ul><li>Candidates with a national phlebotomy certification will also be considered </li><li>Free on-site parking available</li></ul>
