Responding to scheduled and emergency maintenance needs, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, instrumentation, and other automated equipment, while contributing to the broader success of the department through effective communication, plant computer systems, ongoing skill development, and other maintenance activities as needed. Determining equipment condition and repair needs through inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair, including reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings to diagnose and resolve electrical, controls, and equipment-related issues while minimizing downtime.
