The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, can interpret electrical drawings, manages multiple deadlines effectively, and is proficient (or willing to learn) estimating software and Microsoft Office in a fast-paced environment. Position SummaryThe Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role reviews project documents, performs takeoffs, and develops complete bid proposals while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to support successful and profitable projects. Key Responsibilities• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to define project scope• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment estimates• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing• Identify risks, discrepancies, and value engineering opportunities• Prepare complete bid packages, including scope and supporting documentation• Maintain organized estimate files and documentation• Support project handoff by communicating assumptions and key details• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed Qualifications • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications• Proficient (or able to learn) estimating software and Microsoft Office• Strong communication and teamwork skills• Self-motivated and dependable in a fast-paced environment</div>
