The Electrician (South) is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and operating all electrical equipment, both AC and DC, transmission and distribution and telecommunications equipment, located in substations, power plants, and company-owned buildings, as well as customer-owned buildings and substations. The following are the principle duties of the Electrician (South) position: Construct, install, inspect, repair and operate electrical equipment located in substations, power plants, steam tunnels, vaults, telecommunications buildings, as well as company and customer facilities.
