Holiday Coverage: If one or two major holidays fall during assignment period, clinician is expected to work all holidays; if three major holidays fall during assignment, clinician is expected to work two holidays (major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day). Essential skills include: care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, phlebotomy, procedural sedation, IV starts and maintenance, and triage.
