The range of outpatient procedures that may be performed include Loop Excision Electrocautery Procedure (LEEP), colposcopy with biopsies, flexible sigmoidoscopy, nasopharyngoscopy, exercise treadmill testing, microexcisional dermatologic techniques, colonoscopy, esophagoduodenocopy, vasectomy, trigger point injection, joint aspiration and injections, joint splinting and casting, multiple layer skin closures, etc. These conditions include but are not limited to the management of insulin & non-insulin requiring diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, asthma, inflammatory and non-inflammatory arthritic conditions, cancer diagnosis/management/surveillance, physical and/or extremity injuries, as well as acute and chronic psychiatric/ psychological disorders.
