Responsibilities: After proper training, the AEMT may administer epinephrine for the treatment of anaphylaxis and cardiac arrest, airway management and/or oxygen administration with a Blind-Insertion airway device (BIAD), and provide other interventions within their scope of practice as approved by the EMS Medical Director. Responsible for routine daily maintenance checks on the vehicle assigned to them and records results on the vehicle maintenance checklist; properly cleans and restocks assigned vehicles after each call; and refuels vehicle (at the designated service stations) after each call or when tank is less than 1/2 full.
