The Emergency Medical Technician responds to both non-emergent and emergent requests for medical transportation, provides emergency and non-emergency care predominately in the hospital environment and when required pre hospital environment all within the scope of practice, also provides safe and efficient transportation of the patient to appropriate facility or residence. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
