Highly desired technical training, certification and specific OEM experience Minimum of 5 years working or hands-on experience with air handling equipment, devices and controls in the field performing basic maintenance related activities that includes direct experience in building automation, building controls, enterprise systems, and control protocol implementation and systems integration Ex: Siemens, BacNet, or other similar BAS control systems or schemes Minimum of 3 years working or hands-on experience in a maintenance/engineering department in a regulated environment Understanding of mechanical equipment pertaining to chilled water systems, hot water systems, air handlers, heat exchangers, pumps, VAV's and other various subsystems and terminal equipment Significant tasks also include basic scheduling, document preparation, inspections and testing, report generation and problem resolution Experience with mid to small scale projects, facility engineering, HVAC and automated controls is required Ability to properly identify and apply control routines to equipment to be controlled (i.e. VAV, FCU, air conditioner, heat pump, unit heaters and etc.) Experience with HVAC Control, BAS, Energy Management systems, electrical installation, construction practices processes, code compliance and documentation is required Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical and control drawings Capable of implementing design specifications and various control strategies for new construction and renovation projects Ability to read and interpret Scope of Work (SOW) documents Execution of field work plans Knowledge and experience with field related measurement tools, multi-meter, Air Data meter, anemometer, flow hood etc Must exhibit basic communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal Ability to be flexible with work priorities and work effectively as part of a team Experience working with subcontractors, vendors and/or OEMs is preferred Must demonstrate a basic understanding of plant electrical distribution and utility systems and equipment such as ahus, compressors etc Basic knowledge and understanding of computers, PLCs, VFDs and mechanical, electrical, and trouble-shooting skills Capability to review and correct mechanical and electrical diagrams as well as a basic-level understanding of how to read blueprints Pharmaceutical experience or GMP experience is desired Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) desired Ability to be flexible with work priorities and work effectively as part of a team Knowledge of SAP is preferred Must possess in depth working knowledge and understanding of computers, PLCs, VFDs and other machine control systems/devices or equipment In-depth knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of facility related equipment and spaces Ability to identify and order parts needed to complete corrective and preventive maintenance activities in a timely manner Team player with a "can-do" attitude Ability to handle multiple assignments with varying/conflicting priorities in a manner that meets the companys goals Ability to work off of ladders, scaffolding and aerial lifts Technical(engineering/maintenance) background, with "hands-on" experience Self-driven to meet objectives/goals within the organization Ability to take direction from various sources for job completion in a customer service driven environment Traditional industrial work environment, with frequent walking to other areas of the facility, including production areas, loading docks, mechanical spaces, roofs, catwalks and warehouse spaces 100% Must be able to wear company designated protective equipment for extended periods of time, including respirators, CAL rated ARC flash gear etc. This position reports the Director - Site Engineering while working with the Building Automation System Team in the day to day operations of building controls/air handling operations to support pharmaceutical manufacturing at the Seymour Manufacturing site.
