Ability to perform common duties, working from easily understood written and oral directions: carpentry, painting, plumbing, metal work, concrete work, mechanical maintenance and grounds keeping for grounds, structures, fixtures, utilities and equipment, under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. Operates trucks, wheeled tractor with front-end loader and backhoe attachments, air compressor, high pressure cleaning equipment, lubrication equipment, chain saw, garden tractor/lawn mowers, hand and power tools and various other equipment items.
