These systems consist of primarily of computer networks, and system integration laboratories (SIL), but could also involve hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) facilities integrating digital and analog processors, cockpit displays and controls, aircraft, weapons, environmental, and threat models, databases, and operational flight program software related to interactive man-in-the-loop battlespace environments. Some jobs may require a candidate to be eligible for a government security clearance, state-issued driver's license or other licenses/certifications, and the inability to obtain and maintain the required clearance, license or certification may affect an employee's ability to maintain employment.
