The Furniture Engineer is responsible for creating and implementing the technical design strategy for each project, interpreting specifications, resolving engineering challenges, and coordinating with cross-functional teams—including Product Management, Purchasing, Mexico and China Engineering—to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing. Intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlooks, etc.), video conference/chat applications (e.g., Zoom, Teams, etc.), and other common office applications.
