Field work will include oversight of subcontractors, including drillers and other laborers, during soil boring advancement, monitoring well installation, excavation activities, and remedial construction activities; and sampling various media including soil, groundwater, sediment, soil vapor and air.Provide technical expertise, oversite and quality control for environmental permitting and compliance projects related to silica, air quality, noise monitoring, sewer discharge, stormwater, hazardous waste, and waste materials management. Reviews and evaluates technical reports and plans of scientific aspects of proposed projects for the environmental review of projects including permitting, and development of mitigation plans.

We currently are seeking a Project Manager, Civil/Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist, or Geologist/Hydrogeologist with strong technical and leadership skills to work in the real estate development, institutions, and infrastructure market sectors to interact with clients and manage projects that require site characterization; due diligence assessments; environmental investigation related to soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion issues; state and USEPA regulatory interaction; and field support during remedy implementation and construction. Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in civil or environmental engineering, geology/hydrogeology, environmental science, or related field.
ul>Prepare permit applications and compliance programs for multiple environmental media, including air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, spill prevention and storage tanks, EPCRA (Tier II, TRI); Perform multi-media environmental compliance audits, gap assessments, inspections, and program reviews; Develop and support implementation and management of various monitoring and spill prevention and contingency plans/programs (SPCC, FRP, SPR, SWPPP, Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans, TOMP, Slug Control, etc.); Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments; Lead and/or assist in the preparation of proposals including development of scope and costs; Manage project budgets and assist in invoicing as project or task manager; Interact with and build relationships with clients, contractors/subcontractors, and internal practice leaders with a strong commitment to customer service and responsiveness to client needs; Deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines; Conduct field support at client sites including routine site inspections, collection of samples, and on-call support; Train and mentor junior staff; and.
