The following credentials are accepted to qualify candidates for the RPSGT exam under Pathway 2 training: Nursing (LPN, RN), Respiratory Care (RRT, CRT), Electroneurodiagnostic (R EEG T, R EP T, CNIM), Paramedic (EMT-P), Radiology (RT, RT (R), RT(CT), RT (BD), RT (NI)), Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician (CNMT), Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RDCS), Certified Athletic Trainer (AT), Medical Technologist (MT), Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (RAT), Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), Certified Pulmonary Function Technician (CPFT), Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP), Registered Pulmonary Function Technician (RPFT), and Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA). The technician will perform general tasks as assigned such as answering the telephone, cleaning of equipment and checking for supplies and/ contacting the respiratory clerk or Material Handling for re-ordering supplies that are low.
