The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing and toileting, to ensure good hygiene, grooming and self-esteem, serves meals or monitors eating/drinking, accompanies residents to various activities, assists with admission, discharges and transfers of residents to promote continuity of care. Team members at Longwood interact with all residents of this Life Plan Community that is dedicated to enriching the lives of its residents through rich experiences, real connections, and remarkable surroundings.
