Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Initiative in Rural Alabama will build a consortium of local partners in Pickens County and surrounding areas to provide services that address youth mental health and substance use problems along the entire continuum of care, including prevention, treatment, and recovery. Services will be delivered to youth and their families (if indicated) through Pickens County schools in year one and additional counties in subsequent years, and will use evidence-based, strength-based, and trauma-informed approaches.
