Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license or Minnesota Temporary Permit for RN, BLS certification, PALS certification, and at least 18 months of PICU nursing experience, including the ability to care for pre-operative and immediate post-operative PICU surgical and trauma patients, or 18 months of pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) nursing experience, with competence in caring for pre-operative, immediate post-operative cardiac surgical patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
