Purpose/ Job Summary: The VP of Events is responsible for leading the planning of all events for the Business Competition Team that includes, but is not limited to, Mock Competitions, Team Dinners and outings, DECA/FBLA chapter meetings, State Competition travel, National/International Competition Travel, and large recruiting events hosted either at Columbia College or outside organizations such as DECA or FBLA. Plaster School of Business Events and functionally reporting to the President of the Business Competition Team, duties include, but are not limited to: Essential Functions: Collaborating with the Director, President, and Columbia College travel agent on all events that require travel outside of Columbia including flights, van/bus rental, lodging, and meals.
